His actions were driven by a deep-seated misogyny and a sense of entitlement, as evidenced by his manifesto and online videos. His actions were tragic and deeply disturbing, and they highlight the importance of addressing issues related to mental health, toxic masculinity, and violence against women. **

Elliot Rodger's actions were horrific and cannot be justified. While it is clear that he struggled with mental health issues, his decision to commit a violent and premeditated attack on innocent people cannot be excused. While it is important to address the mental health issues that may have contributed to his actions, it is equally important to recognize the impact of his violence on the victims and their families. Therefore, I do not view Elliot Rodger as a victim, but rather as someone who committed a heinous act of violence. **
