Teletext was popular in the past for accessing news, sports scores, and other information, but with the rise of the internet and digital media, its usage has significantly declined. Many people now prefer to get their information online through websites and apps, making teletext less relevant in today's digital age. **

Videotext/teletext is still used by some individuals who prefer accessing information in a text-based format. Teletext is still used by a small but dedicated group of people, particularly in countries like the UK, where it is still available on some television channels. Some older individuals who are not comfortable with newer technology may still rely on teletext for news, weather, and other information. Yes, there is no teletext service on ARD, which is a public-service television broadcaster in Germany. Teletext is considered old-fashioned because it was developed in the 1970s and 1980s, using technology that is now outdated. The text-based information is displayed in a limited format with low-resolution graphics, making it less visually appealing compared to modern digital platforms. Additionally, the interactive features of teletext are limited compared to the interactive capabilities of the internet and other digital platforms. Overall, the design and functionality of teletext have not evolved to keep up with the advancements in technology and user expectations. **

Teletext is still considered outdated because it relies on older technology and infrastructure that has not been updated or modernized. The format is limited in terms of interactivity and visual appeal compared to newer digital platforms. Additionally, the decline in popularity of teletext due to the rise of the internet and digital media has led to a lack of investment in updating the technology. As a result, teletext continues to exist in a more traditional and less dynamic form. **
